Founder

Neville Franks has been designing, developing and publishing software for more years than he cares to recall. His career in software development began before the original IBM-PC was invented, but not by that much. He started writing in Assembler language, which has held him in good stead to this day.

Neville has been involved in the development of Business Software, Programmer Tools and now Internet Research software. He has been a Director in a number of companies and is the Chairman and CEO of Soft As It Gets Pty Ltd and Chairman of Softpods LLC. Soft As It Gets Pty LTD has been developing and publishing commercial software for over 20 years and has an enviable track record in producing quality software and delivering first class support.

Neville is well known for his very successful Programmers Editor, ED for Windows which is in use by software developers around the world and more recently as the author of Surfulater, an Internet Research and Knowledge Building tool which is highly regarded by its users. Neville is passionate about developing software that meets a real need and that people love to use. He has been a successful entrepreneur for over 25 years and thrives on the challenges that each day brings.

When not sitting at a PC he enjoys his new addiction, playing Golf, which started when he recently moved to live on a Golf Course. Staring at the ocean, swimming, bush walking, yoga, bike riding, overseas travel and enjoying time with family and friends are all favourite pastimes.
